Special Meeting Minutes

October 19, 2014

· Call to Order: Jerry Pryce, Vice President, called the meeting to order at 4:20 PM.

· Roster of Homeowners was signed by those in attendance. Ten (10) proxies were submitted and 30 homeowners were present, and therefore, a quorum.

· CC&Rs/By-Laws: Norm Rainey asked if there were any questions before a vote to approve the CC&Rs/By-Laws.

Don Draeger mentioned the taxiway setbacks referred to in the CC&Rs say “shall” be a minimum of 20 feet away from any taxiway. He suggests the next time the CC&Rs are amended, that the word “shall” be changed to “may”.

Norm Rainey, President, advised there is a clause in the CC&Rs indicating all homeowners who choose to sublease their property must provide a copy of the CC&Rs to the renter.

Norm mentioned that should a Board member be sued in conjunction with Board duties, North Park HOA will reimburse the affected Board member for costs/damages incurred.

There was a motion made by approve the amended CC&Rs and By-laws as submitted. Motion made by Bill Boyle and seconded by Don Draeger. Unanimous vote to approve.

There as a motion to adjourn the meeting by Joe Zink, seconded by Judy Watkins. Meeting adjourned at 4:30 PM.
